National Women's Health Information Center This website is by the Office of Women's Health, which is a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Body Positive This organization looks at ways to promote a positive body image, regardless of an individual's weight. Their website includes numerous articles, resources, and a forum for visitors.
Eating Disorder Referral And Information Center This organization provides articles and referrals for people with eating disorders.
Nemours Foundation This website is provided by the Nemours Foundation's Center for Children's Health Media. It addresses body image and other health issues that impact teenagers.
Sexual Assault / Domestic Violence
Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) is the nation's largest anti-sexual assault organization. RAINN operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1.800.656.HOPE and carries out programs to prevent sexual assault, help victims and ensure that rapists are brought to justice. Their website includes statistics, counseling resources, prevention tips, news and more.
Office on Violence Against Women This website includes a long list of agencies around the United States that work with domestic abuse survivors.
